A meal plan can be added to your booking at any time by emailing reservations@southernpalms.net. We are not an all-inclusive property but the following meal plans can be added:
Breakfast, Half Board, Full Board.
Children stay free up until 12 years of age.

All guests (12 years +) sharing above double occupancy in any room category will be charged an extra person fee. Fees vary on season so please email reservations@southernpalms.net for rates.
A group booking consists of 10+ rooms, please email reservations@southernpalms.net to discuss accommodation rates and other inclusions.
A special enhancement can be added to your booking such as Champagne, Cake, balloons etc. Please email frontdesk@southernpalms.net for further information.
Complimentary cots are available and can be requested in advance by emailing reservations@southernpalms.net.
We are unable to place any extra beds/ rollaway beds in rooms or suites. Please check the rooms and suites page for more information on room category occupancy.
Some rooms in some categories come with 2 double beds. However, this type of bedding is limited, based on availability and must be requested in advance by emailing reservations@southernpalms.net.
Any of our suites are recommended for families as they can accommodate 4-5 guests. All suites include 1 king bed or 2 queen beds, pull out queen sofa bed and kitchenette.
Standard check in time is 2:30PM, Check out time is 12:00PM.
Late check out (Up to 4PM) is subject to availability and can only be guaranteed on the morning of departure with our Front Desk team. A charge of $54.00 USD inclusive taxes is applicable per room.
Should you arrive prior to our standard check in time and would like your room to be ready on arrival we recommend that you book from the day in front to guarantee this. Your luggage may be stored in our luggage room free of charge.
The official currency of Barbados is Barbadian Dollars (BBD) but US Dollars (USD) is widely accepted. We can facilitate the exchange of foreign currency or travelers’ cheques for local currency at Front desk.
In July 2018 the Government of Barbados introduced a mandatory room rate levy policy of $9.72 USD per room per night. This levy will be applied to your room bill and charges processed upon check out.
Complimentary WI-FI is available throughout the property. Likewise, feel free to use the computer facilities located in our business centre free of charge.
The voltage is 110 v-50 cycles and adaptors are available at Front Desk.
There is a self-service laundry facility located on the property which includes a washer and dryer. A fee of $10.00 USD is applicable.
Room service is available daily from 7.30AM until 10:00PM with a wide selection of dishes to choose from. Fees apply.
Tours and attractions can be booked via our Front Desk during your stay. Our Front Desk team are extremely knowledgeable of the island and can recommend the best tours and activities Barbados has to offer.

Southern Palms is located in the heart of St. Lawrence Gap and is easily accessible to all public transport via a short walk to the main south coast road. Buses run continuously throughout the day and cost $3.50 BBD per route.
Taxis are readily available as you exit the arrivals hall and cost approximately $20.00 USD to Southern Palms. If you would like to pre-book transfers we recommend using the company Blu Isles, you can contact them directly to book https://bluisles.com/contact/.
Car rentals can be arranged via Front Desk during your stay or by emailing frontdesk@southernpalms.net before your arrival. Complimentary onsite parking is available for hotel guests.
In accordance with Barbados laws smoking in hotel rooms and balconies, the restaurant, bar, indoor spaces and any other non-designated smoking areas is prohibited.
A valid credit card is required at the time of booking to guarantee the booking.
Full Payment will be processed at the time of check in unless stipulated otherwise.
Winter travel ( Dec 16 – April 15)
Cancellations made within 14 days to arrival will incur a penalty of 3 nights.
Summer travel ( April 15 – Dec 15 )
Cancellations made within 7 days to arrival will incur a penalty of 3 nights
