ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY The Management and Staff of SOUTHERN PALMS BEACH CLUB are committed to the preservation of the environment and it's ecosystems, by continually improving and reducing the negative impacts on the environment. Through awareness training for our Staff and Guest's and the implementation of environmentally friendly
practices, whilst maintaining the health, safety and comfort of both Staff and Guest's in accordance with local laws and legislations We are committed to: - Reducing Solid Waste, Water & Energy Usage
- Protection of our Beach, Ocean & Sea Creatures
- Safe Storage and handling of Hazardous Substances
- Land Preservation
- Air & Noise Pollution
We are
committed to involving our community and purchasing locally produced products and services whenever possible to aid in the growth of tourism for Barbados and it's people. ENVIRONMENTAL PRACTICES Southern Palms is endeavouring to use more environmentally friendly and procedures. To this effect we are gearing our practices to Globe Globe standards having achieved certification in March 2002.
Our ecosystem is very fragile and our natural resources are not unlimited, we are trying to play our part in part in protecting and enhancing the beauty of our Island for all of us who live here and for all of you who are yet to appreciate it's beauty. |
